Brian Hingerty is a guitar player from Berkeley, California. Hingerty's diverse background in different genres of music lays the foundation for his creative interpretations of American Roots music. At the young age of 17, has established himself in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene.
Hingerty performs regularly at venues throughout the Bay Area. He has performed Birdland Jazzista Social Club, The Fenix, Ashkenaz, and The Old Skool Cafe. He has also performed at Yoshi's Oakland, the UC Theatre Berkeley, 924 Gilman, and Bottom Of the Hill. Hingerty has played, performed, and recorded with various artists such as Chris Amberger, Glen Pearson, and John Stowell. He has participated in programs such as The Brubeck Institute Summer Colony, The California Jazz Conservatory led by Michael Zilber, and the Berkeley High School Jazz Ensemble. He has received various awards such and recognitions such as being the Festival Youth Discovery at the Gualala Whale and Jazz Festival. Through music he has had the privilege to travel around the world to places like Cuba.
Hingerty is currently working on his first album and released a single from his album. He continues to play solo and in ensembles throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
